The Commandant, staff and all course participants of MAFDC, together with Singapore Navy course participant, ME6 Sean Duffy Jonathan Galloway, celebrated the 53rd National day of Singapore on 10 August 2018 in Dewan Trisakti.

The celebration started with the singing ‘Majulah Singapura’, Singapore National Anthem, followed by a country brief on Singapore by ME6 Sean Duffy Jonathan Galloway. The event was concluded with a cake cutting ceremony graced by the Commandant. Later, all attendees were treated to the anniversary cake and lunch at Wisma Kancil. The National Day of Singapore is celebrated every year on August 9. It is Singapore’s public holiday with National Day Parade, an address by the Prime Minister of Singapore, and fireworks celebrations.
