23 June 23 - The In Country Field Studies (ICFS) East Coast resumes with a visit to the 4th Brigade (Bde) Mechanize (Mech) Headquarters (HQ). The delegation was led by Kol Ahmad Hafizal bin Hj Hashim, HOSSIR of the MAFDC was welcomed by the Chief of Staff, 4th Bde Mech HQ as well as Joint Force HQ (JFHQ) staff and was accompanied to JWC-JFCHQ.

Briefings were held in 2 sessions by Lt Col Zuraidi bin Zainal Abidin, Chief of Staff 4 Bde Mech HQ followed by JFHQ. The briefing from 4 Bde Mech HQ covered the scope of roles, tasks and challenges faced by 4 Bde Mech. Both visits were followed by an exchange of mementos and a photography session.

This session in parallel with the objective of the visit in gaining 1st hand knowledge and information on the operation of relevant and selected military units. It also gives a deeper understanding of the conduct of military operations.
