18 May 23 – The Extra Regional Field Studies (ERFS) to The Federal Republic of Germany began with a visit by the MAFDC delegation to the NATO School Oberammergau (NSO).

The MAFDC delegation, led by MAFDC Commandant FAdm Badarudin bin Taha, was warmly welcomed upon arrival by the NSO Commandant Col Jay Smith and his staff. The visit commenced with a briefing by the NSO Commandant followed by an exchange of mementos and group photography session. The visit concluded with the delegation visiting the technical rooms, classroom, and academic areas.
