16 May 23 – The Extra Regional Field Studies (ERFS) day 7 continued with a visit to TGM Istanbul Naval Shipyard. A comprehensive brief about operations that take place at this shipyard was delivered to the delegation during this visit.

The visit was continued with the exchange of mementos by the Commandant of MAFDC, FAdm Badarudin bin Taha.

Before the visit concluded the delegation was given an opportunity to participate in a tour of the frigate of the Turkiye Navy, TCG Buyukada (F-512) which is under maintenance at this facility.
