Yang Mulia Gen Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi bin Raja Mohamed Noor delivered his Keynote Address to Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College Course Participants Serial 36/2016 on 10 June 16. The title of his presentation is ‘The Malaysian Army: Strategy and Concept of Development’. He spent about 2 hours for the presentation including questions and answers session. YM Gen Tan Sri also encouraged all Course Participants to not only dedicate their time to studies but also to take this opportunity to establish networking amongst them.
The College recognize and value staffs who have achieved excellence in their work. "Anugerah Khidmat Cemerlang" aims to recognize staff who have done an excellent job and can be an example to the others. The recipients are as follows:
Introduction Night for MAFDC Course Serial 36/2016 was held on 11 February 2016 at the Foyer Ballroom Dewan Perkasa, Wisma Perwira ATM. The objectives for this event is to cultivate interaction among Staffs and CP with their spouses for Course 36/2016 and also to provide opportunity to all CP to introduce their families.

MAFDC has conducted the Regional Field Study (RFS)visit to Indonesia from 23 to 27 March 2015. The delegation was headed by the Commandant, First Admiral Dato'Sabri bin Zali and accompanied by eight staff officers, the Distinguished Fellow Prof Dato' Dr Zakaria bin Hj Ahmad, Program Coordinator Assoc Prof Dr Chan Kim Ling @ Geraldine and 40 Course Participants. The main objective of this RFS is to enable Course Participant to gather firsthand knowledge and information on the roles, functions and capabilities of the Indonesian Defence Force and other related organisations entrusted with the defense and security of the Indonesian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Several Keynote Addresses had been delivered to MAFDC Course Serial 35/2015. These addresses were by Malaysian Minister of Defence, Chief of the Defence Force, Service Chiefs and Inspector General of Police. The main objective of this session is to enable Course Participants to gather first hand information on roles, functions and capabilities of the respective organisation.

Kuala Lumpur, 27 May - The Chief of Defence Force gave his lecture on topic Strategy and Concept of Development.

KUALA LUMPUR. Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Haji Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin delivered his address to Course Participants MAFDC Serial 36/2016 on 19 May 16. The title of his presentation is ‘The MAF: Strategies, Capabilities and Challenges’. He spent about 2 hours interacting with Course Participants, including a questions and answers session. Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Haji Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin also spent some time to interact with all Course Participants. He encourages all Course Participants to not dedicate their time to studies but to use opportunity to establish network among themselves. This in a way enabled confidence building among Course Participants which will contribute secure of the world in future.

The Award for the Best Employee for every Quarter in year 2015 aimed to honor the employee who had performed well in their job as well as to comply with the requirement of MS ISO 9001:2008. The award giving ceremony was held at "Dataran Latih" attended by all staffs and graced by the Commandant.

On 10th Apr 15 The receipient of the award is Puan Rosmawati binti Rosli (3-7692).

On 10th Aug 15 The receipient of the award is 1116094 PW 2 Roslan bin Amit.

On 2nd Nov 15 The receipient of the award is 1141092 Cpl Mohd Noor bin Ismail.

For The Best Employee for 4th Quarter 2015 will be done in early 2016.
The Wives’Enrichment Course Serial 36/2016 held from 10 to 12 February at Wisma Perwira ATM. This course begins at 0800H until 1700H daily. The objectives of this course are to provide opportunity to interact and foster relationship amongst wives.

A decoupage class was organised for BAKAT MAFDC members on 16th April 2016 at Wisma Kancil, MAFDC. The class was attended by YBhg Datin Suzanna binti Dato’ Abu Bakar together with a number of the local and international course participant’s wives. Decoupage is an art of decorating objects by gluing colourful paper cut-outs in combination with special paint effects and gold leaves. The lesson was facilitated by Madam Rohaizah bin Kasah@Akasah. In conjunction with the activity, a competition was held among the artworks produced by attendees. At the end of the session, YBhg Datin presented prizes to the best three artworks produced during the session.
