KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) chief Admiral Datuk Seri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Ahmad Badaruddin was today inducted as the sixth member of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College's (MAFDC) 'Hall of Fame' here. The declaration ceremony was conducted by MAFDC commandant Datuk Sabri Zali by the handing over a memento as a symbol of honour and recognition to Ahmad Kamarulzaman. Ahmad Kamarulzaman, 57, said it was a special privilege to be given the honour as the sixth member of the honoured list

MAFDC has conducted the Regional Field Study (RFS)visit to Indonesia from 23 to 27 March 2015. The delegation was headed by the Commandant, First Admiral Dato'Sabri bin Zali and accompanied by eight staff officers, the Distinguished Fellow Prof Dato' Dr Zakaria bin Hj Ahmad, Program Coordinator Assoc Prof Dr Chan Kim Ling @ Geraldine and 40 Course Participants. The main objective of this RFS is to enable Course Participant to gather firsthand knowledge and information on the roles, functions and capabilities of the Indonesian Defence Force and other related organisations entrusted with the defense and security of the Indonesian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
