DINERS' CLUB SERIAL 1/2019

The 1st Diners’ Club for MAFDC Course Serial 39/2019 was successfully conducted on 16 July 2019 at the InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The guest speaker was Datuk Dr Anis Yusal Yusoff, Deputy Director General of Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre (GIACC). He presented a talk entitled “Achieving Aspirations of Malaysia Baru : The Roadmap to Governance, Utmost Integrity and Corruption Free Nation” followed by questions and answers session. The Diners’ Club is part of the course program that enables course participants to interact with prominent personalities on related topics such as security, economic or current national issues in line with regional and global perspectives.

COMMANDANT LECTURE SERIES

The Commandant Lecture Series (CLS) for Malaysian Armed Force Defence College (MAFDC) Course Serial 39/2019 serves as a platform for exchange of information and interaction on strategic, security, defence, leadership and international relations issues with selected prominent individuals. On 26 June 2019, MAFDC was honoured to host the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, H.E Charles Hay MVO, as the guest speaker. He talked on “Foreign Policy Option and Regional Security: The Importance of South East Asia to United Kingdom Post Brexit” and followed by a question and answers session.

Introduction Night Course Serial 39/2019

The Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College Course Serial 39/2019 Course Briefing was conducted on 16th January 2019 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The registration of 42 senior officers from Malaysian Armed Forces consist of 24 officers from Malaysian Army, 9 officers from Royal Malaysian Navy and 9 officers from Royal Malaysian Air Force was also conducted on the same day.

The Opening Ceremony of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College Course Wive’s Enrichment Course Serial (Kaya Budi) 39/2019 was held on 15th February 2019 at the Trisakti Hall. The Course Participants of this course comprises 42 senior officer’s wives from Malaysian Armed Forces. The Opening Ceremony was officiated by the Commandant, First Admiral Mohd Fadzli Kamal bin Mohd Mohaldin.

BAKAT Chairman Handing Over Ceremony was held on 3rd January 2019 at the Trisakti Hall. The Course Participants of this course comprises 42 senior officers from Malaysian Armed Forces consist of 24 officers from Malaysian Army, 9 officers from Royal Malaysian Navy and 9 officers from Royal Malaysian Air Force. The Opening Ceremony was hurled by the Commandant, First Admiral Mohd Fadzli Kamal bin Mohd Mohaldin along with other distinguished fellow, officer and staff.

GRADUATION CEREMONY MAFDC SERIAL 38/2018
Written by MAFDCThe Graduation Ceremony for MAFDC Serial 38/2018 was held at the Trisakti Hall and officiated by The Defence Minister, YB Tuan Haji Mohamad bin Sabu. This memorable and auspicious ceremony was also witnessed by other dignitaries from the military and civilian including the Course Participants’ spouses.
All 44 CP walked tall and proud during the MAFDC Diploma presentation by The Defence Minister. Three awards were given away to the following CP:
a. The Best MAF CP Award: Cdr Ahmad Sapuan Fathi bin Haji Muhammad RMN.
b. The Best non-MAF CP Award: LTC Sean Duffy Jonathan Galloway (Navy Singapore).
c. The Best Research Project Award: Cdr Thaweesin Kongpraset (Royal Thai Navy).
