OFFICIAL VISIT FROM UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY (USMA) ON 27 JULY 2017

MPC was receiving official visit from USMA on 27 July 2017. There were 12 personnel consisting of Head of USMA, Captain Jacob Absalon with four cadet officers, accompanied by two staff and five cadet officers from NDUM. The aim of this visit was to learn about the MPC’s organisation and it’s operational. The programmes arranged for this visit were group photo, briefing about MPC, MPC tour and lastly afternoon tea at Banquet Hall. This visit was also to promote MPC as an SME on peacekeeping subjects and also Malaysia in the eyes of the world.

OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE AMBASSADOR OF THE NETHERLANDS

Netherlands Visit 1

On 28 March 2017, MPC had the honoured to receive an official visit from Her Excellency Karin Mossenlechner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kuala Lumpur. The aim of the visit was to get the overview on MPC operations and built collaboration and cooperation between MPC and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The visit started with briefing on the background and operations of MPC, followed by short tour around MPC’s facilities and compound. Her Excellency Karin also given the opportunity to visit the conduct of BLUE HAVEN Exercise for UN Military Expert on Mission (UNMEoM) Serial 4/2017 which was held at Kuala Klawang, Negeri Sembilan.

OFFICIAL VISIT BY SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE

Saudi Visit 2

MPC has honoured to receive an official visit from His Excellency Sheikh Dr Muhammad Abdul-Kareem Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League. Also comprised in this visit were Dato’ Dr Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato’ Dusuki, Deputy Minister at Prime Minister Department, Dato’ Sri Abdul Rahim bin Mohamad Radzi, Secretary General MinDef, Lt Gen Dato’ Abdul Halim bin Haji Jalal, Chief of Staff MAF HQ, Lt Gen Dato’ Suhaimi bin Mohd Zuki, Director General of MiDAS and a few members from MinDef and Malaysian Armed Forces. Col Fazal bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Commandant and staff of MPC welcomed the delegation at the MPC HQ’s foyer. The visit started with the Commandant gave a briefing on the historical and operations of MPC, followed by short tour around MPC’s facilities and compound. Subsequently, the delegation was taken for morning break at the Banquet Hall and end with signing the visitors’ book and exchanging mementos. The visit ended at 1130H.

OFFICIAL VISIT BY DIRECTOR STRATEGIC PLANNING AND POLICY (J5) USPACOM

USPACOM Visit 2

On 5 April 2017, MPC had the honoured to receive an official visit from Maj Gen Steven R. Rudder, Director Strategic Planning and Policy (J5) United States Pacific Command (USPACOM). The aim of the visit was to get the overview about MPC operations and discussion in collaboration between MPC and USPACOM. The visit started with briefing on the historical and operations of MPC, followed by short tour around MPC’s facilities and compound. Subsequently, the delegation was taken for lunch at the Banquet Hall and ended the visit at 1500H.

OFFICIAL VISIT FROM UNITED STATES ARMY PACIFIC (USARPAC)

USARPAC 3

MPC has the honoured to receive an official visit from Maj Gen Charles A. Flynn, Deputy Commanding General of the USARPAC. The aim of visit was to strengthen the collaboration and cooperation between MPC and USARPAC. Maj Gen Flynn has also made an office call to the Commandant and subsequently be taken for a short tour around MPC facalities and compound. He was also impressed with the facalities. At the end of the visit, Maj Gen Flynn and the delegation were taken to Army Museum for a short visit.
