Kuala Lumpur, Feb 15 - General TNI Gatot Nurmantyo, Commander in Chief of The Indonesian National Defense Force has visited Malaysia in conjunction with his retirement. General Gatot, who has served as Commander in Chief of the Indonesian National Defense Force on July 8, 2015, will start retiring in April this year.
General Gatot for his visit was celebrated in a Farewell Dinner hosted by Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces, His Excellency General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi bin Raja Mohamed Noor yesterday at Hotel Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur. Also present at the event was the Commander-in-Chief of Services, Chief of Staff of the Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters and senior officers of MAF and also his wife to General Gatot.
General Gatot also paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Armed Force at Defense House, Ministry of Defense of Malaysia. He was honored to receive salutation from the Main Control Group (KKU) of the Royal Malay Regiment.
During a courtesy visit, Chief of Armed Force was pleasend to present a momento to the General Gatot. Also present during the courtesy call were the MAF's Senior Officers and Officers.
