He was born on 06th Jan 1978 at Bukit Baru, Melaka and his primary education at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Baru before continue his education at St David Secondary High School. He joined Royale Malaysian Navy on 14th August 1996 at Pusat Latihan Rekrut Berek TLDM Woodlands Singapura. He entered Cawangan Pelaut Kepakaran Peperangan Atas Permukaan (PAP) after he finished his recruit training. He continued his advance course Class II Junior Able Rate at KD Pelandok and having his on-job-training onboard KD Yu within 6 months. After finished his practical training, he continue his next course in his service which is Class I Able Rate at KD Pelandok for another 6 months. He was then complement onboard KD Serampang and appointed as artillery incharge 40/70 MM Bofors.

 

           He is married to Madam Julainiakmar Binti Aumran and blessed with a son. His wife work at Ministry of Education, which is a teacher at Sekolah Kebangsaan Polis Depot Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. He lives at Blok D 5-6 Perumahan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia, Desa Pasifik, Jalan Ampang Kiri,55000 Ampang Kuala Lumpur.

 

           Throughout the journey of his career, he has finished few career and advance courses that organized by RMN and other agencies. Among others were Class II Junior Able Rate, Class I Able Rate, Leading (Q), PO (Q), Gunnery Instructor (GI Q), Operator and Maintenance Artillery 76/62 MM Oto Melara,40/70 MM Oto Breda Twin Barrel,57 MM Bofors Mark 1 and 2,30 MM Oerlikon, Carl Gustav 84 MM,12.7 MM Heavy Machine Gun, Rifle Aug Styer,M4 A3 Carbine, MP 5 9MM,Machine Gun 7.62 MM, Machine SS77 7.62 MM, Pistol 9 MM Browning, Glock 17,vector, RMN Leadership, Development and Evaluation of Training Syllabus, Physical Safety, Operational of CB 90 and assault boat, Organizing Protocol and Ceremonial Events and Integrity Course.

 

Throughout his career, he has served variety of ships and bases namely as KD YU, KD SERAMPANG, KD LAKSAMANA TUN ABDUL JAMIL, Stesen Terumbu Peninjau(PAPA), Bot Tunda Satu, KD Malaya, KDSI I, Depot Peluru Dan Letupan TLDM, SKTLDM Parit, 96 HAT Lumut, West Logistic Headquarter and prior to present appointment, he served at RMN Headquarter. During his career he has shown a high level of work performance that brought him to be a blue eye boy to his superiors and he is capable to perform all assignment given very well. He also has shown full of respect to all his officers and additionally he a be a good role model and provides excellent guidance to all his subordinates. With the support of the Highertop management and as a result of his hard work, he has been entrusted and being appointed as the first SMR Istiadat of Malaysian Armed Forces started from 27th October 2019 until now.

 

                         His role and responsibility as an SMR Istiadat Malaysian Armed Forces is to act as an advisor and directly responsible to the Chief of the Armed Forces and the AKS PA on customs and protocols. He also responsible to ensure the empowerment of custom and updates the rule of custom and protocol in Malaysian Armed Forces and federation related to all service in armed forces and Ministry of Prime Minister's (Department of Customs). He also responsible to advise all service in armed forces in order to conduct the parade and quarter guard in a proper way according to strength and its regimental custom. He will ensure that all events are organized smoothly and ensure the attendance of guests at each event. He also responsible to ensure the conduct of the Funeral and Funeral Services of the National Guard and the Funerals of the Armed Forces in accordance with the prescribed ceremonial guidelines direction given by each person in armed forces.

Beliau dilahirkan pada 19 September 1974 di Alor Setar Kedah. Mula menceburi Perkhidmatan Tentera Darat pada 10 April 1993 di Pusat Latihan Rekrut (PLR) dahulunya dan sekarang dikenali sebagai Pusat Latihan Asas Tentera Darat (PUSASDA) selama 6 bulan di Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan dan seterusnya pada 3 Oktober 1993 beliau ditempatkan di Batalion Ke Sembilan Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (Para), Kem Terendak, Melaka. Di sepanjang perkhidmatan, beliau telah menunjukkan sikap dedikasi dan ketekunan kerja yang tinggi dan berusaha dengan gigih untuk meningkat maju dalam kerjaya ketenteraan. Hasil daripada kesungguhan dan dedikasi yang telah dipamerkan dalam tempoh 26 tahun perkhidmatan, beliau telah berjaya mencipta sejarah menyandang jawatan sebagai Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (SMR ATM) yang pertama pada 27 Oktober 2019.

Pegawai Waren Satu Hayazi bin Abdul Aziz juga telah memegang beberapa Jawatan lain sepanjang tempoh perkhidmatan, Di antaranya adalah sebagai Anggota Repalman, Penolong Ketua Seksyen, Ketua Seksyen, Sarjan Platun, Probos Sarjan, Kompeni Sarjan Mejar danPegawai Waren Jurulatih Payung Terjun di 9 RAMD (Para). Selain daripada itu, beliau telah diberi kepercayaan untuk memegang jawatan sebagai Sarjan Mejar Rejimen di Batalion Pertama Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja pada 17 Ogos 2006 hingga 19 Ogos 2009, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) pada 20 Ogos 2009 hingga 30 Jun 2013, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Markas Medan pada 1 julai 2013 hingga 29 April 2014, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Kor Infantri pada 30 April 2014 hingga 6 Mei 2015 dan Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Tentera Darat (SMR TD) pada 7 Mei 2015 hingga 5 Oktober 2019, dengan ketokohan beliau, maka beliau telah diberi kepercayaan dan mandat oleh pucuk pimpinan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia untuk menjawat jawatan sebagai Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Angkatan Tentera Malaysia yang Pertama.

Kursus-kursus kerjaya dan kepakaran yang telah dihadiri beliau di sepanjang perkhidmatan adalah Kursus Asas Payung Terjun di PULPAK, Asas Kerani di 17 RAMD (Para), Kadar Pasukan di 9 RAMD (Para), Asas Semboyan di 9 RAMD (Para), Jurulatih Abselling Repelling dan Penyelamat Udaradi PULPAK, Pengesan Tempur di PULADA, Ketua Penerjunan di PULPAK, Ketua Seksyen di PULADA, Asas Tempur Tanpa Senjata (TTS) di 9 RAMD (Para), Jurulatih Payung Terjun di PULPAK, KPSP di 9 RAMD (Para), Sjn Platun di PULADA, KPSMK di IPDA, KPPTTK di IPDA. Semua kursus-kursus yang dihadirinya memperolehi keputusan yang cemerlang dan membanggakan.

Beliau telah mendirikan rumah tangga dengan Puan Yusandayu binti Yahaya. Sepanjang perkongsian hidup, mereka telah dianugerahkan dua orang cahayamata lelaki yang memberi kekuatan untuk beliau lebih berjaya demi anak-anak yang disayangi. Beliau juga memanfaatkan masa lapang beliau dengan aktiviti kerohanian disamping beriadah bersama keluarga dan beliau adalah seorang yang peramah serta amat disegani oleh rakan-rakan.

Di dalam jawatan ini, beliau bertindak sebagai penasihat dan bertanggungjawab terus kepada Panglima Angkatan Tentera mengenai aspek-aspek kebajikan anggota/keluarga LLP dalam ATM. Beliau juga bertindak sebagai penasihat kepada Panglima Angkatan Tentera dalam perkara-perkara yang melibatkan dasar-dasar perkhidmatan, kerjaya dan hal ehwal sosial anggota LLP. Beliau juga merupakan wakil kepada anggota LLP bagi membawa semua usul kepada pucuk pimpinan tertinggi ATM berhubung segala maklumat yang diterima berkaitan pendapat dan masalah anggota untuk perhatian dan tindakan pihak atasan MK ATM. SMR ATM juga perlu mengiringi lawatan dan perbarisan yang dihadiri oleh Panglima Angkatan Tentera serta memberi maklum balas kepada pihak atasan berkaitan perkara yang perlu diambil tindakan. Beliau juga bertanggungjawab untuk menyelia tugas-tugas SMR bagi perkara yang melibatkan rejimental dan pengurusan. Beliau juga bertanggungjawab menyelaraskan pengurusan sumber manusia melibatkan anggota LLP yang bertugas di MK ATM.

VICE ADMIRAL DATUK ABDUL RAHMAN BIN HJ AYOB

            Vice Admiral Abdul Rahman bin Ayob was born on 2nd Dec 1964 in Johor Bahru, Johor. He joined the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) as an Officer Cadet on 2nd July 1982 and was commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant on 13th June 1984. Starting 1st Nov 19, he assumed his current position as the Deputy Chief of Navy.

            His career as an officer in the Executive Branch included appointments onboard KD KASTURI (Corvette), KD YU (FAC G), KD RENCHONG (PC), KD GEMPITA (FAC M), KD BAUNG (FAC G), KD PERDANA (FAC M) and KD SERAMPANG (PC) where he took his first command. His last sea appointment was the Commanding Officer of KD PERAK and the Squadron Leader of 17th Patrol Vessel Squadron.

            His shore duties covered appointments as staff officer at the Human Resource Department, Planning and Operations Department at the Naval Headquarters, and at the Maritime and Tactical Centre. He served with the RMN Submarine Force Project Team in Cherbourg (2003-2006) and later headed the Submarine Force Project Team cell at the Naval HQ (2006-2010).

            In 1993, VADM Abdul Rahman completed his submarine training at HMAS PLATYPUS, Australia and obtained his Submarine Qualification badge. He attended a number of submarine familiarization training in Sweden in 1995 and France in 1999 and completed his Basic Submarine Course (AGOSTA Class) in 20006 at France.

            VADM Abdul Rahman was appointed as the RMN Submarine Force Commander and the Submarines Operating Authority (SUBOPAUTH) twice from 9th August 12 until 8th March 13 and from 24th March 14 until 17th August 17. He had commanded the Naval Region 2 Headquarters (HQ COMNAV 2) from 5th Jan 17 to 22nd June 18. He was the first Naval Region 2 Commander to be based in Sandakan from 30th August 17 following the establishment of the Eastern Fleet Command in Kota Kinabalu. He had the opportunity to also serve as the Deputy Head of Mission of the International Monitoring Team (IMT-8) at Mindanao, Philippines from 15th March 13 to 15th March 14 and his last position was at the Eastern Fleet Commander RMN from 25th June 18 to 15th Oct 19.

            VADM Abdul Rahman is a graduate of Malaysia Armed Forces Staff College Haigate Kuala Lumpur in 1998 and obtained his Diploma in Defence and Strategic Studies in the same year. He is also a fellow of the Centre of Defence and Strategic Studies, Australia in 2011 and obtained his Master of Arts (Strategic Studies) from Deakin University, Australia.

            VADM Abdul Rahman is married to Datin Dr Norinah binti Mustapha and blessed with four children. VADM Abdul Rahman is a tennis player and a keen golfer.

Lieutenant General Dato’ Mohd Asghar Khan Bin Goriman Khan RMAF

DEPUTY CHIEF OF AIR FORCE

            Lieutenant General Dato’ Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan RMAF (371739) joined the Malaysian Armed Forces as an Officer Cadet on 18 July 1983 and was commissioned on the 10 July 1985 into the Royal Malaysian Air Force as a Second Lieutenant.

His Flying career started in 1985 after graduating from the RMAF flying school in Alor Star. He was posted to fly fighters and had since flown numerous types of aircraft which includes the F - 5E Tigers, MIG 29 and Sukhoi 30 MKM. He was an instructor pilot on the F5’s and MIG’s and a Qualified Flying Instructor trained in CFS, Australia.

            Throughout his service career he has held various appointments at unit and formation levels among others were SO 1 fighter operation at No 1 Air Division Headquarters, Commanding Officer of the MIG 29 and Sukhoi 30 Squadrons, Base Commander of Gong Kedak Air Base and Assistance Chief Of Staff, Operation & Strategy, Air Force Headquarters, Ministry Of Defence and also Assistant Chief Of Staff J3, Joint Force Headquarters. Before assuming his current appointment, he has served as Commander of Air Education and Training Command, RMAF.

            He graduated from the Air War College (AWC), Pakistan in 2008 with a Master of Science in Strategic Studies and attended Royal College Of Defence Studies, London, UK in 2014. He has also successfully completed the 195th Session of the Advance Management Program from the Harvard Business School Boston, US in 2018 and also attended the Transnational Security Cooperation Course 18-2 from The Asia-Pacific Centre For Security Studies, Honolulu, Hawaii in 2018.

            Lieutenant General Dato’ Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan is married to Datin Bibi NasratJahan binti Gulab Khan and blessed with 3 children; a son and two daughters.
